Rocking the Boat pt. 1
It’s been quite quiet from this corner of the web for a little while, however I have actually been doing sim-stuff (as well as vacation-stuff and lazy-stuff)… It just hasn’t been related to Harrington. At any rate I’m back and I’m bringing updates
This is part one of two entries that took place while I was playing Pomona and Poppy’s house. I split them in two as they’d be far too long to read in one sitting (this one is four pages long with a total of 27 pictures).

One can wonder what thoughts went through Pomona’s head as she stood in the kitchen/living room screaming her head off. Maybe she thought “never again!” or perhaps she was wondering where the hell Poppy was and what was taking her so long? Either way, it’s safe to say that Pomona was not feeling anything but severe pain and an urge to curse men to hell and back.

Luckily Pomona came running quite quickly, although Socrates was just a nanosecond quicker in getting there. Though at that point Pomona probably wouldn’t have cared very much as to who got her to the hospital as long as she got there and got an epidural.

After a bit of pacing back and forth (Poppy and Socrates, who for some reason felt the need to come along, did the pacing, Pomona mostly just breathed and pushed), biting of nails and going between the stages of panic (that was mainly just Poppy) Pomona finally delivered and upon arrving back home took a minute to look at this little bundle she’d brought to the world. (She refused to call it a “bundle of joy” as she was certain it was bound to be more of a “boundle of trouble”)
At either rate, Poppy did her best at welcoming Marius Gale to the world by preparing a nursery for him. After all, Poppy really does want some of these bundles herself, although she’s wondering if she might not consider adopting instead, as it seems more painless.

Of course, one might want to point out to her that participating in that particular activity does not bound well for avoiding the pain that giving birth would surely cause. Perhaps this is another sign why assigning Poppy as the headmaster might have been a bad idea. As of yet the rate of teenage pregnancy hasn’t gone up, so one can assume that no severe harm has been done as of yet.

Poppy is still very much a child at heart, though luckily it appears that Socrates doesn’t mind that very much. He too longs for “bundles” (they’ve taken to calling them that after watching the terrifying heartwarming process that brought Marius to the world), and they’ve taken quite a shine to one another. That and Poppy truly does need another teacher, a teacher who is not Pomona as that can’t be good for anyone

Whoever said men/boys will sometimes move too quick for ones liking has clearly never met Poppy. It didn’t take her long to decide that she wanted to marry Socrates. This might be because as far as Poppy knows, Socrates has never been near neither Clary or Pomona and so he’s “safe” from them. Oh Poppy…

At either rate he did accept, although he didn’t move in as he had some things to take care of at his place before he could move anywhere, that and Poppy and Pomona still haven’t decided precisely which one of them who owns the house and until they decide neither are too keen on moving and losing possible investments.

Let’s all say “Awwww” and “Congrats” to the happy couple, may the happiness last and so on and so forth. Poppy seems slightly more into the embrace than Socrates, no?
Oh wow, what a soap opera! I think this house is headed for some fireworks soon or possibly a total implosion. All that partner swapping cannot end well!

It very much is a soap opera! You’ve no idea how shocked I was when I saw Pomona getting her claws into Socrates. It’s one thing that Clary was there – that was BEFORE she met Poppy, but Pomona’s been best friends with Poppy WAY longer than she’s known Socrates! *sigh* Somehow it seems obvious to me why Clary and Pomona like each other so much… They’re twins separated at birth!

I so love your pictures. I don’t know, there’s something very vivid about them that really pulls me in.
As for Poppy and Pomona.. yikes! I really like these two even if they are both a little messed up. Pomona really rocks those pigtails.

Thank you
I don’t really do anything except aim and try to keep non-play related stuff away from the camera (i.e. the acr-box). But thank you!
Yikes is right, and it has to get worse before it gets better, no? XD I really like the pigtails on Pomona for some reason, can’t bring myself to change it
