Rocking the Boat pt. 1
He comes in after she’s done and had it been any other man than Artie she would have thought him to be a huge creep. Artie however is nice, despite is dubious taste in women he’s become her friend over the past few months. Again it seems like he wants to tell her something, but it doesn’t seem like he quite manages to find the words to say it. She tries again to get him talk, but eventually gives up and playfully pushes him in the shoulder so he’ll let her out so she can go to bed.
Meanwhile Pomona has gotten up, completely oblivious to Arthur’s worries she feeds and cuddles Marius who woke up quite hungry.
In fact, Marius is not the only one who’s hungry, Pomona has felt like she was starving ever since she got out of bed and the minute Marius closes his eyes she’s off to the fridge to make herself some cereal. When she does eat, she eats like she hasn’t had food in days. She’s not certain she’s ever felt quite so hungry before, or at least, she hadn’t until…
She almost drops her spoon, staring blankly ahead of her for a few minutes before shaking her head in denial. Oh no, it can’t be.
The next day Poppy brings a new friend home from work, her name is Celia Garnet and to Poppy she seems like a rather regal figure, especially seeing the way she stepped out of the car to avoid dirt getting onto her dress. Why is she wearing a dress? Poppy doesn’t know, she thought she worked in law enforcement not in fashion!
Celia goes inside and Poppy fusses with the bills, as she’s posting them she sees Arthur coming by and is quick to invite him inside. Arthur almost seems to live with them these days, he usually stays the night, heads out around 6 a.m. then comes back again just as Poppy finishes work.
Of course, it might have something to do with the fact that Pomona ends work just an hour after Poppy does… Even if he’s just a fling, Pomona is always quick to greet him when she sees him.
Celia has made her way over to the audio system, and she’s dancing! It warms Poppy’s heart as she too loves dancing, no matter how bizarre a spot she might be at.
Oh wow, what a soap opera! I think this house is headed for some fireworks soon or possibly a total implosion. All that partner swapping cannot end well!

It very much is a soap opera! You’ve no idea how shocked I was when I saw Pomona getting her claws into Socrates. It’s one thing that Clary was there – that was BEFORE she met Poppy, but Pomona’s been best friends with Poppy WAY longer than she’s known Socrates! *sigh* Somehow it seems obvious to me why Clary and Pomona like each other so much… They’re twins separated at birth!

I so love your pictures. I don’t know, there’s something very vivid about them that really pulls me in.
As for Poppy and Pomona.. yikes! I really like these two even if they are both a little messed up. Pomona really rocks those pigtails.

I don’t really do anything except aim and try to keep non-play related stuff away from the camera (i.e. the acr-box). But thank you!
Yikes is right, and it has to get worse before it gets better, no? XD I really like the pigtails on Pomona for some reason, can’t bring myself to change it
